Upcycled Crafts

We will explore the age old idea of making "something from nothing" in a new eco-friendly way! By creating works of art out of empty soda bottles, old t-shirts and other discarded items, we will be discovering the beauty in the most mundane things and finding creative solutions to the nearly unavoidable issue of wastefulness in our modern society. One person's trash is another kids treasure! We'll make fashionable accessories, sculptures, grocery bags and other useful works of art out of what we once thought of as useless trash!
